Ingredients:

- 1 cup strong hot chocolate (made with cocoa powder or your favorite hot chocolate mix)

- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 cup mascarpone cheese

- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

- 1 package ladyfingers (about 24)

- Cocoa powder for dusting



Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.


2. In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and coffee liqueur (if using). Mix until smooth.


3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.


4. Pour the hot chocolate into a shallow dish and allow it to cool slightly.


5. Dip each ladyfinger into the hot chocolate, coating both sides lightly.


6. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.


7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.


8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.


9. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.


10. Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
